Has no one found out the correct dimensions or a proper template yet? I'm actually quite anal when it comes to the specifics and would love to finally have some sidemarkers installed on an otherwise naked fender.

agreed. I think I'm going to use the DC5 template, but move it down from the accent line a little bit.

Considering I've either shaved or changed the sidemarkers to make them less obvious in my last three cars, I can't imagine wanting to ADD one to a car that didn't have it. You did a good job, but I can't understand why you'd want to in the first place.

Everyone does things differently, I've added sidemarkers to my previous car after a JDM front end conversion and it's those little things that set you off. Maybe b/c all cars you owned came stock w/ sidemarkers so it was the "cool" thing to shave them, and here, it's vice versa.

i really like sidemarkers not only for its looks.. but SAFETY! Especially if you can get them to turn on with parking lights AND signal lights. During the night many people will just switch lanes and not really look... this is dangerous! Having sidemarkers let people know you're next to them AND lets them know if you're going to change lanes way more clearly. SIDEMARKERS FTW!
Ps, Installed LED bulbs into my mom's stock sidemarkers on her BMW, i think this is GREAT because it's probably brighter and the response time is faster too

Its not hard. I did the same thing to my 94 GSR. You drill one hole and use a nibbler. its like 15 bucks at most at radio shack. it is a cool device that nibbles out a square centimeter piece of metal. so you can nibble out the hole however big you want it.
