Question on JDM center Grill

I have seen JDM 1.5S with either silver or black center grill(grill surrounding the front Honda emblem). My question is what differentiate the two colors? Thanks in advance

I meant to ask about the factory grill not the optional grill, Like the pics below. The exact same style grill, one silver, one black.
