hi. MY Fit was destroyed this night by an asshole who just f*cked my life up since he messed my whole back(of the Fit of course) and ran away while i was working peacefully and my car parked sitting pretty until. What I really want to ask, since I have to buy a rear bumper, the jdm one fits prefectly, only gots to remove rear reinforcement bar? what disadvantage this gives me?

Since I have a sport, I dont think it will blend up with the skirts, do you?
Thats why im also considering buying the skirts, Jdm ones, do they fit with no modification to be made?
Please brighten up my life, and help me out. Thanks!

 

i believe that when u put on the jdm bumper you have to remove the reinforcement bar and replace it with another part, particularly j's monocoque bar. the only danger i can think of is if you get hit again from the back, there is ALWAYS the possibility that the airbag sensor mite not go off therefore no release of air bag and that can be very dangerous! Specially if you have like a kid in the passenger seat! Take Care!

 

thanx a lot for the reply. I got no kid man..its only me in it most of the time. What the heck, I couldnt wait no more and just ordered the whole new back usdm, insurance paid 4 it so never mind. Might do something different to it by the way....
