for that price it sounds like it would be an axle back. But my gut feeling says catback since that's how all EVO system's are sold.

The price doesn't seem right compared to other EVO2 cat backs for Hondas like the CIVIC. Closer to $500 not $300. If it is true then that is a good price.

I've searched in various sites and I don't see much for EVO2 for the FIT or any other 2007 Honda. Closest was 2006 Civic Si Coupe.

Anybody find a vendor that lists an EVO2 for the FIT????

Pretty sure its an axle-back since all kits are so far. They sell the Greddy for the tC, its an axle-back.

EVO2 for real!

From
http://optionsauto.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TP-10156686
MSRP $365
Sale price $292
Description
EVOLUTION 2 - EVO2 The full stainless steel EVO 2, is Greddy's most popular cat-back exhaust. Designed specifically for USA spec vehicles with rear JDM quality, styling and performance, the EVO2's tuned straight-through design offers an incomparable combination of power and sound. With applications for both turbocharged and normally aspirated vehicles, Greddy designers carefully selected piping routing and diameters to link the offset muffler section. When installed on the vehicle, it provides the look of a small race muffler, while still having excellent sound for daily commuted and deep throat tone under full acceleration and race use.
-------------------------
Seems too good to be true. I tried the order button and it looks like it is in stock. If anyone gets one let us know how it works out.

I have a GReddy SP cat back exhaust on my old Maxima and it works fine but since it was not fully stainless steel the pipe before the muffler rusted out in less than three years and had to be repaired. Others have said that happened to them as well so beware the non stainless steel systems.

I am very interested by the price of the EVO2... but worried about performance and noise.
I am looking for an exhaust that will increse torque (even slightly) at low RPM and will remain soft tone within the cabin at high RPM. Anyone has an opinion on what are the best buys offered now in these terms?

Greddy website lists the exhaust as *REAR ONLY*. I doubt it is full cat back. Maybe i will give em a call and find out tomorrow.

Thanks for calling.

For the price this makes alot of sense. It was about $200 less than the other GReddy cat back systems- now you know why.

The website needs to be changed to reflect that it is axle back only not cat back. Otherwise someone could complain about bait and switch.

So what do people think about it as an axle back exhaust for $300?
Worth it?
