How are you controlling the boost? Did your tuners give you some sort of cap or limit on how much boost you can run? Just curious, and I wouldn't want to see you bend the con-rods on your build.

Pardon my general ignorance, I'm just really curious.

Right now I'm not revving past 3500rpm, regular driving around sees me shifting at about 2500/3000rpm. Avoiding going into boost altogether until its running 100% and I have the go-ahead to give it some stick.

Cruising on the highway sees 110kph and about 3400rpm at that speed.

Boost will be set for 0.4bar/6psi for daily driving around. MIGHT do a separate map for race conditions.

Planning on doing 'high boost' sometime next year

If you have any questions feel free to ask. It's not a bad idea to do some research or searching on the forum before posting.

On a different note; dyno sheets, pics and maybe a vid or two will be posted in the near future

So I got the final daily drive tune done. A very conservative 0.35bar or 5psi boost on pump 95, no water/meth.
That sees just over 40wkw gain over stock and just over 75wnm over stock. Could easily do around 130wkw on 0.6bar but for the sake of the OEM rods the boost has been cut back.

Thanks
Liking the AEM kit a lot! Running straight distilled water for now on the smallest nozzle, gonna do a 50/50 mix in the near future when my full-on engine build picks up some momentum.

On a separate note...

To do list for 2013 looks like this at the moment:

-Full valet, then some pics and vids for you guys.
-Install Innovate turbo timer.
-Install AEM oil temp gauge (a recent purchase).
-New grill for the front bumper.
-Pick up a spare engine (L15A JDM import)
-Baffle the sump for trackdays.
-Begin extravagant shopping list for engine internals.
-Buy and fit an LSD.
-Swap in built engine and send off for tuning.

egvtec asked a while back if it was worth boosting a small displacement engine?
Thats a highly subjective topic, BUT after sorting out all the teething problems and driving the car for a while, I gotta say the look of shock/confusion/disbelief/amusment of others when a Jazz goes and sounds like mine does right now is simply golden!

I'm enjoying the process of 're-learning' how to drive my car and I look forward to exploring the potential of my current turbo set up.

Mixed in 2L ethanol into my tank when I filled. Been getting good results, leans out the AFR's by about 0.3 and maintains them more consistently through gear shifts, etc.
The extra response is a welcome bonus.

Thanks! I think I prefer the cleaner look, the pointing and staring at the intercooler by random people didn't get old though.

She's running great! Surprising quite a few cars/people on the low boost. Can't wait till my engine build picks up some momentum...

I got mine directly from AJ-racing.com, it's a T1R 60mm gauge pod. The AEM gauges are all 52mm so I had an aluminium (aluminum) backing plate cut by a water jet to fit the gauges.

Picking up some slippage from the OEM clutch, which isn't bad considering I've done 135 000km's on it. About 5000km's of which was boosted.

Replacing with this Exedy Stage 2 Racing Clutch:
