Meanwhile another engine was here(a crz swapped k20) so we put that into my car.now i plan on k-swap.ordered the engi9ne from Japan already k20 type R.will take 3-4 weeks to arrive.than i will make a seperate thread about the swap

Here is pic after engine swap.
actrually i thought about building with forged internals once engine was out.but than i am stuck with CVT.so if i wanted to increase boost and Hp cvt wont handle it.if i swapped it to manual and build engine than buy crz ecu and hondata etc etc that is costing near a k-swap. a K-swap here is cheap.as labour is less.just 200$ labour :P
total k-swap is costing near 6000$ if i use RSX ecu and K-pro. but i am choosing civic Si ecu and Hondata flshpro.in that way my dash will work and mine and civic si ecu are same generations.with this cost will be near 7500$

Actually the petrol pump who sold me hi-octane was not hi-octane.i found out later at workshop that a supercharged 350z also got blown engine after low quality fuel.I will never refuel from that one but damage alreasy done.but i am not sad.every thing happens for a betterment.
There were no other factors like boost spike,fuel cut etc etc.boost was stable at 6-7 psi and afr at 11.7

Just k-swapped my fit.its very fun now.
Its JDM k20R motor.we used FD2 R headers,2.75" exhaust,73 mm throttle body,short ram custom intake. civic si ecu was used with hondata flashpro and Haspot engine mounts of crz.

Thanks guys.its lot fun.tyres spin upto 3rd gear!.its MT now so making vids is bit difficult but i made one on highway to record vetc sound.its engages at 5100 RPM,red line 8700RPM.

This my k20a swap into FIT GE8 (SWAP DC5R)
Brembo brakes from DC5+s2000 rotors
And now dashboard not work(because dash GE FIt use CAN BuS)
but i want use 2 ECU...
P.S Tell me please. how you installed shifter

so your car running finee xcept the speedo and rpm ?
you will need Dakota devices.two of them.one for speedo and other for rpm.once you buy them i will tell you further.
basically you will convert the signals to canbus by thhose devices

Hello every one,The k20 Fit is running great with no problems.I plan on turbo it. Just bought HX35 turbo this weak. i am getting emails about more details of the k-swap.
This is my new k-24 swap build with every details including every wiring,sensor,axles etc etc It covers k24 aswell as a k20 and tells about what will be needed for a k24 or a k20 swap. The main purpose of that build is to prepare evrry thing before the swap and go to swap shop prepared.so that labour and time at shop would be kept to minimum
It is in a CR-Z but procedure is about same except you will use Honda Fit ECU pinout diagram when wiring and axles would be smaller for Honda Fit.
