Atlast the day has come.all equipment has arrived.today i will go to workshop for turbo installation.i will keep you guys updated via pics and vids.i am also posting at crz forum as i have same engine. i think today wiring with AEM FIC-6 will be completed and stock WOT runs for MAF clamps .tomorow turbo install and exhaust work. 3rd day tuning.
meanwhile i have bought elm OBDII adapter and torque pro to measure before and after turbo data.as there is no dyno in my city.here is what it is before turbo install.All figures are WHP and WTQ,max toruqe was 104 ft-pounds,i dont know why it was not showing at time i figured how to save screen shot.and about quarter mile time,i think i lifted my foot off paddle as there was traffic ahead.but i am sure 0-60 was at full throttle.

i may create a seperate thread and will post link here as initial pages of this thread are very old

Thanks man,today tuning is done.other things completed including 410 cc injectors.
i have an urgent question. what is stock injector size of L15A7 engine?
CRZ guys say 185cc but in this thread Lyon says its 277 cc?
my tuner was asking and i told him 185 cc but i am confused.can some one share a reliable proof of their size?
my tuning session is due just 6 hours later.so it urgent.

The stock GE part number is 16450-rna-a01 and is 185cc

See the first picture in this post. The OP had his injectors flow tested:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...r-install.html

The stock CRZ part number is 16450-rtw-a01 but I don't know the cc for sure.

Atlast got time for some runs on motorway. i cant belive Cvt was able to handle this much torque @8-9 PSi
WTQ=190.4 Ft-Lb = 257 Nm
WHP=174
whihc nears approximatily
HP=194
Torque=210 ft-Lb = 287 Nm

1/4 time is not accurate as i had to lift off the paddle due to traffic.
My best 0-100 is 8.2 sec and i think this cant be improved as it is auto gear car
1/4 mile 16.5 sec

Wow...the silence is deafening. No comments on his results and the turbo? Thought more people would be interested in getting this outside of the one fella that recently posted about it.

guess i have to post myself :P
near 7000 km since turbo,going great.as my most drive is in city so i kinda feel the turbo lag although it starts spooling near 2700 rpm but as mine is a hybrid plus a cvt so rpms are relatively on lower side.but its a blast to drive in paddle shift mode where rpms can be kept higher
one downside which i feel is AEM FIC cant uplift rpm limit,so my top speed is around 210km/h although it reaches there in like no time .other than that FIC is pretty amazing,no jerks no gliches etc.after 2 months my LTFT are near zero,both ECU's are happy,so is my motor and so am i.
cvt cooler is doing nice keeping max temp at 160 F ,although i think its bit on cold side,i read it should be B/W 170-190F.
i updated my thread regularly on crz forum as they are more active.this thread kinda felt dead after i comleted my project.was shocking to me but i posted it so that some one can benefit from it.
my best 0-60 is 7.4 sec. and i think it cant be improved as its cvt and i dont wanna launch it with handbrake etc to cause any damage to it.
m using 5w50 liquimoly.althought Honda says to use 0w20 :P

This is great and I'm certainly appreciative that you post here about it. I'll be looking at the videos once I get home (at work now).

What kind of CVT cooler you have? I have a CVT as well. All of my automatic transmission cars have a tranny cooler but I haven't done any real research on a CVT cooler.

I'm glad the car is running well.

its not a special cooler,just an automatic trans cooler by long-tru with low temp bypass

Thank you!

I'm still blown away at how much torque the CVT is handling. Love the blow off valve sound.

BTW: When you are accelerating, do you simply press on the gas pedal or do you do something else?

Normally i just press the gas paddle,but when i need a real kick in torque i slightly flip off the paddle and than press hard again.with this method it provides near 210 ft-lp torque and cvt even doest slip(i dont know why Honda did't open their cvt potential? i mean why just limit the cvt ?
without this method car is at near 170-180 ft-lb toqure and cvt even slips if suddenly accelerated.
Here's 0-100 video,you will see speedo jump at near 45km/h when turbo kicks in.
may be i should do a video with traction control off and with paddle shifts

Awesome! One suggestion if you don't mind trying it out.

0) Place the car in the lowest gear possible (1 or L if you have that and leave it there),
1) When you accelerate, tap the gas pedal. What I mean is you hit the gas pedal and lift off slightly before hitting the gas pedal again. Do this 5 times in a row 'quickly and smoothly'.
2) Note how fast you accelerate vs the normal way you do it.

This is what I do to get the fastest acceleration out of my CVT. If I'm right and you record this on your Torque device, you'll notice your max torque will be lower than normal (A bonus actually for the CVT) because you will actually skip over the midrange torque peak. However, your acceleration should be quicker by 2-4/10ths. Expect quicker 1/4 mile times as well, by 2-4/10ths.

DIY needed for USDM Fits

This kit is mainly for JDM and Asian Fits which have short hood, but USDM Fit has longer Nose,so the you will have to buy some universal lenghts of intercooler charged piping.Rest engine is same,so you wont have any issues with manifold etc. but with cheap and quality kit like this it wont hurt to order some extra silicon hoses,some U or T pipes and may be 2 feet of extra piping,which will cost may be 100$ all.
in short,you will have to do some DIY to fit it onto a USDM Fit.
Mine was a hybrid Fit but i took risk and imported it.very little modification was needed in an exhaust pipe bend which took may be 20 mins for welder.
Other that that it was a nice fit bolt on kit.Turbo is medium size.starts spooling at near 3000 rpm and full boost at 4500 Rpm.Turbo is good upto near 350 WHP.

Oh alright. This will most likely be a project for far down the road.
