I installed this Top Fuel intake. I wanted a T1R intake but this Top Fuel was under $100 and I got impatient waiting to find a seller for a T1R. It makes decent sound when going WOT.

 

I am interested to know whether you see any fuel economy increases with this intake. I was looking at the same intake, and I had even emailed Zero 1000 about the sharp angle in the chamber creating turbulence and decreasing performance. I wi have to dig up their reply.

I'll see how many miles I get on my next fill up. I had a k&n drop in filter prior to this intake and I was getting around 300 mile per 10 gallon tank.

 

Found the reply from Zero 1000:

"Thank you for your interest in our products and inquiry.
Our Power Chamber for Honda Fit is designed for the Japanese model of Fit with engine code of GE6, GE7, GE8 and GE9.
The export version of "Fit", "Jazz" , is actually not exactly the same as what we have in Japan.
Unfortunately we don't have enough data on Jazz to figure out whether our Power Chamber can be installed on Jazz too without causing any troubles.

Fit is controlled by computer to save fuel and its control is very strict.
Just replacing an air filter may cause the engine-check-lamp lighted on.
When we designed Power Chamber for Fit we had to forces on clearing this issue than increasing performance of the vehicle.
As you pointed out, once turbulence is occurred in the chamber it may decrease performance.
