There does appear to be a pattern and at least mine was constructive
But seriously that **** is obnoxiously loud for such a slow car.
How do you live with that on the highway or in town?
Could sound worse I guess.. To each their own
BTW this is a public forum, if you don't want potential negative feedback or peoples actual opinion don't post threads like these

Mine sounded like that for a little while but a resonated down pipe 2 resonators a muffler and Apexi exhaust control valve has helped a little.... Actually I kind of got off on the popping after down shifting or just letting up on the throttle at 7000 RPM.

To be fair, usually one would expect a rotary to sound like a group of angry snapping snarling gremlins exploding out the tail pipe, the 3 and 4 rotors variants especially are just intoxicating to listen to under WOT.
Does anyone remember the 4 rotor LMP cars from the late 80's?

I don't think I ever heard a 787, but when I was younger, in the late 90s, my family would travel around to the WSC races where the 3 and 4 rotor Kudzus were everywhere. We'd have fun trying to spot which was which from the sound, in the dark at Sebring. I remember specifically a race in Dallas where there was a stock bodied fd with a 3 rotor that was absolutely mopping it's class up, and ended up placing in a higher class by the end of the race. The Supras were no match for that many rotors.
