Gonna need more details. How do you like it? Are the power gains worth the price?

So the stock 50something seems to be fine powerwise?? Any other comment about driveability, responce? Is it a worthwhile mod?

Marko!

Its kind of hard to tell in the pics, did they replace the throttle plate with a larger one? Did they knife edge it at all? Are you still using the OE throttle mapping, or are you running a Blitz TC? Sorry for all the questions, but i'm getting ready to send a TB out to Maxbore myself and was hoping you could answer some of my more idiotic questions...

Yes it now has a bigger butterfly with the TB bore of 55mm and yes you can use OE map....you wont have a problem with it.

I went to Maxbores website and they are quoteing 100 for Honda TB boring. I have an E-mail in to them asking about the L15, referencing the work they did for you. I see that you are running a CAI, did you notice any change in throttle response with the larger bore TB? I suppose if you did it wuold be hard to tell what with the new intake manifold and all. I just had top ask....LOL

Cool, I wanted to try a bigger TB that has DBW like an S2k. Although the idea is there, rewiring would look like a pita.

Im a retard, I thought you had a WEapon R intake mani. Oh wells. I'll probably go with the 55 just to see what happens. I have a complete intake manifold set coming and I plan on disassembling the upper mani and doing some "work" on it internally. That along with porting and port matching the lower mani to the head should loosen up up a couple of ponies but we'll see..... Thanks for your help man!
