Electric Exhaust Cutouts
#4
Any vehicle it would be possible. Now emissions testing will be a problem. But you won't have to worry about that until the car is 5 years old.
The only problem is you'd be looking at spending a pretty penny to bypass the cats, which would give you a decent jump of around 10-20 hp. But you'll spend close to a grand with all the custom pipe work and wiring of the switch to engage the cut outs. Trucks are easier to do this on since there is so much extra room. In the Fit space is at a premium, you'd be hard pressed to get a decent path for the exhaust to flow as well as where to mount the electric cut off housing and hardware.
I think its a good HP mod, just not price effective, or emissions legal for that matter.

When i was a member on the rx8 forum a member i knew had one.. and i sounded bad ass, it's super loud though so u have 2 becareful with cops hating. Im pretty sure you can find a kit 2 do it to your car, i've also seen it in person on a z06 and that one sounded super loud also, but you can youtube it and see how it works.

Thats a good point the fit just honestly will not produce enough power for this mod, unless you drop a k20 in it and have more a hp, now on a z06 like the one i saw this mod sounded bad ass.
