Awesomeness!

Great Post! Good numbers. I'm really excited for those stepping up to high boost when it is FINALLY offered to us.

And once again(sounding like a broken record...thats what we used before CD's for you young guys!) hopefully that IC will be available for those of us not getting high boost because we're A/T.

C'mon, how hard could it be to do a mid-boost upgrade for us A/T drivers, leonine did it on his own.

This is crap. You guys get a supercharger AND a high boost intercooler kit and GE owners get nothing.

GD's been on the market for years, u guys are new to the market, and will ultimately, have more units out on the streets, so there is good chance for other parts that gd's wont have the opportunity to have

Im still a pretty big noob when it comes to all this boost and what not but looking at what is included in the high boost kit I dont see why we (A/T guys) cant get the re-flash as well. As of right now im planing to get the intercooler, AEM F/IC, bigger injectors, Tranny cooler and a tune from a local shop.

My best educated guess is daily driver surviveability of the stock automatic transmission.

From a business standpoint I can understand KW not wanting to go high boost(or even mid-boost) if the stock A/T transmission won't hold up in the long run. Granted one of our FitFreakers successfully did it with his car but that's just one guy(and I'm crazy jealous too!)...not enough to slap the KW name on a kit.

If an upgrade existed(maybe it already does?) to make the A/T stronger, I'm guessing it would be a different ball game.

Once again, this is MY OPINION! I could be totally wrong.

I'm also quite a noob with FI and such, so all the knowledgeable people on this forum have been very helpful. Will having the IC setup help reduce heatsoak and bogging of the engine? My car seems to get bogged down quite often, especially lately when the weather is sunny and warm here in socal. Tubing & engine bay gets quite hot too, where the crossover tube gets as hot as holding a cup of hot coffee after turning the ignition off from a 20-30 mile drive.

Pics of what? The setup?

As said before in previous post in this thread, check pg 35 of the KWSC thread and you'll see OP's engine bay w/ the high boost intercooler setup w/ cowl.
