Found the time to complete the valve adjustment. The intake spec was fairly close with the exception of cylinder 2. The exhausts were all tight. I adjusted them to .012 but now the engine is quite "clackity" next week i'll tighten those up cause i hate noisy engines.
Everything is running smooth. Very easy maintenance to perform.

Bringing this one back up from the depths of the lost threads, great info! Preforming this on MzFiT soon. And @ the same time polish out the valve cover.> Seen this done a few L15A engines and makes them look soo cool.

what tools are needed for this repair? I have zero tools so not sure how much I gotta spend or just fork up a few dollars at Honda despite everyone saying this is so easy to do.

engine started ticking at cold idle... at almost 200,000 km im sure my time is almost up for an adjustment. But I don't notice any driving issues yet.
