crank pulley removal?
#4
honda has a crank pulley tool but its like 20 dollars. i just stuck a pry bar in the oem pulley slots and took a nice breaker bar with a cheater bar on it and twisted it off.
i would recommend using an impact wrench though cause that bolt is on there way tight!!!

**Old Thread Revival**
I know this is an older thread but I don't like starting new ones if it's not needed.
Does anyone know how I where I can order the crank pulley removal tool (The part number) from? I don't mind it being $20.00 or what not. I just want to have it removed safely and quickly when I'm ready. Thanks!
Edit: Nevermind --> I found this. Thanks!

I ended up paying a mechanic to do this and they had to use the heat of a torch to help them get it off. What a bugger! I tried myself using the chain/hex key method on youtube, effer wouldnt budge, almost gave myself a hernia.

I just did mine the other day without the special Honda pulley removal tool.
Years back I use to just stuck a pry bar in the fly wheel and break the bolt loose with a breaker bar and cheater extension if needed. Well this time it was a little different. First thing i did was use some PB Blaster on the bolt. Then I wound up using a ball joint fork tool and wedged it in the fly wheel teeth with the one end in the trans and the other under. This looked the flywheel allowing me to break it loose with a breaker bar (without a cheater extension). Honestly pretty easy.
