I think a K20 is a better idea, but it's nice to know this is possible. If it's a few grand cheaper of a swap, I'd probably do it

There has been a bseries fit out for awhile now. It isn't going to be any cheaper than doing a kswap I can promise you that.

I'd do a k24 b4 a b series any day. You can find a low milage k24 for around $1000 plus parts between the k20 and k24 are becoming more and more available.

maybe a k24 from an accord or crv but not from a tsx. if its that cheap, i'd either question where it came from or its condition.

man link dont work for me! i wanted to do a B series in my fit cuss my friends has soo many motors laying around but he said something about it might be down grading since its a older motor.. so its better off you go K20 =/ but i dont mind having this =P

actually its illegal for you since you live in cali

it has to pass a visual test as well as an o2 sniffer test. if you dont get your engine approved by a state ref, you can be red tagged.

if the engine is older than the car, you cant use it in cali.

engine has to be newer and must use all smog parts from the donor car.

hahha yea. lots of custom work i bet. you can get almost any engine in any car with enough custom work so seeing a bseries in a fit doesn't really make it any easier to put one in yours. unless somebody like hasport starts producing mount kits for a swap.
