HKS High-Power

On a stock Honda Fit is the HKS High-Power axle-back a very loud exhaust from outside? How is the noise quality inside? Looking for something rather quiet and not too loud.

Any axle-back on the Fit is quiet. Even running the car with no muffler is quiet enough to not bother anyone.

Yeah, I have a HKS Axleback. Not loud at all. Dont notice any droning at idle. Sounds deep. (as I only have the axleback right now with a Short ram intake) I love it, and dont regret getting it.

Only thing is that the look of it gets boring for me soon, but its almost impossible (knock on wood) to get noticed from police with this exhaust, during daily driving. Of course if your going like 4-5k rpm, then thats different.

def recommend taking off the axle-back to anyone before buying an axle-back... woulda saved me 300 bucks... wheras ive had my car 9 months now... bought te hfp the week after i bought my fit... took it off and sold it 3 months later and am still running axle-back-less... its a good tone and perfect loudness... invest in deleting =P

I have a HKS axle back connected with a Megan Midpipe. When I only had the axle back it wasn't loud at all. After the midpipe it got louder IMO and after I guess it "broke in" it seemed louder. Its not disgusting loud like some of the other Honda owners out there lol

I love my hks hi-power. The axle-back alone is very mild, you only know you have an exhaust when you accelerate. Cruising it's silent. Even with a midpipe you can't hear it when cruising. It has a very nice, deep tone and no videos do it justice.

Getting a downpipe soon i'll put up a video of it!

Oh, and I didn't like the sound of removing my muffler ;-P
