Last t1r vip exhaust

I just called ajracing to ask about the t1r vip axle back...luckly they had the last one, which is the one that they have on diplay on their test car.....they told me that they discountinued the exhaust..so they gave me a break and left it at $200.so i got lucky for getting the last one it should be here in about a week..

great deal on the t1r VIP! it was one of the axlebacks that i wanted but was just out of my budget (as far as axlebacks are concerned).

i did some research and found out that you could have a less fancy t1r VIP made for a quarter of their retail price. flange + resonator + dual tip exit = not-so t1r VIP but close. it definately won't be a quality piece like the one from t1r but a few coats of heat resistant flat black paint and i'd be happy

Does it have the heated tips? I remember the first muffler made didnt have it.
Then when people got their VIP's to their surprise they all had heat treated tips.

Why has it been discontinued? Couldn't have been that great then...

I like the idea of dual exhaust, but I wonder if it's possible to have one tip on each end of the rear instead of side-by-side. I have yet to get under my car so I dunno if running a pipe on the left side would even work.
