Shifter plastic ball cup cap thingie - where can I get a replacement?
Hello,
I'm using a Fit short shifter adapter in my CR-V (long story, but it fits...) and the little white cup that fits over the ball end is slightly different in size.
Does anyone have one or know where I can get one?
Dealer tells me I have to order a complete shifter. Not to many in the junkyards yet. Will the Civic one that TWM sells work? Thanks for the help!

it does look like you cannot order that part alone. you'd have to order the whole shifter...
i'd search for junk yards. why are you using a fit shifter? can you use the part that came off of your stock shifter?

I'm using the Skunk2 adapter on my stock shifter. That part works. The little plastic cup, though, is smaller on my application. It's just way too tight if I pop it onto the Fit adapter. Because of this, it also flares out a bit and doesn't fit back into the cable.
I guess I could just grind down the ball on the fit adapter to make it work with my stock plastic cup. Tried a bunch of junkyards...they don't want the trouble. I'll probably try the Civic cup. If that doesn't work, I'll either give up and sell the adapter or keep it and grind it down to work.
Thanks for the info!
