Unhappy For Those Wanting the Mishimoto Carbon Intake

Just FYI, I ordered one of these from JDM Instock over a week ago and they called to let me know that Mishimoto has stopped shipping these because an entire batch of their product is defective and not fitting the "Fit" correctly. This brings me to the big decision on waiitng until they run through another batch which can take 2-3 weeks or going with the H-Fit SSI which everyone seems to love. For those that have ordered one that may be brand new, I'd call Mishimoto and check the batch number to make sure it's not part of the defective batch.

the only think i had to do was wrap some tape around one of the brackets to make sure it doesn't rub on the radiator hose.
there's a thread about it

other than that it fits fine.
still a great intake for the price

improvise! improvise!

Well damn, wish they would have shipped it to me anyway then! Good thing is that that JDM would sell it to me at cost when they come back in, so guess I'll have to wait. Overall are you happy with the intake then? Any videos of it in action?

yeah I would either get one now or wait for the new batch cause the Mishimoto deff looks like a better piece than that h-fit thing,I havent read a bad thing about the Mishimoto.
