Question HKS kit with more boost? MBC?

How many PSI is the F-CON tuned for MAX? I know the kit, and therefore, the wastegate, is set for 5.7ish....but what if you up'ed it with a MBC....how high can you go?

There probably isn't a max psi at all. If you up the psi you'll need to get it re-tuned anyways. Then your limits are what the turbo can handle and the stock map sensor which probably can't read much over 10~15 psi (over atmospheric pressure).

Stock map sensor is .7 bar....good for 10.29psi at sea level....after that you will throw cel.

stock map sensor is 1bar. which is 14.5psi the values of air to fuel are set in the ecu to not exceed a certain parameter. so you will throw a cel with a spike in your map voltage or just too much air. a piggyback to the ecu tricks it into adding more fuel than it physically can. this confuses the ecu.

i have talked to many people about MBC vs. replacing the wastegate spring. everyone of them say that using a MBC isnt a good choice on a mechanical type external wastegate. a MBC will work to add psi but i am going to take the advice i was given.

What is a 3 bar or 2.5 bar map sensor or an aftermarket map sensor used for?:
An aftermarket map sensor is used for forced induction vehicles which are to be tuned over 11 psi of manifold pressure. The factory Honda map sensor only supports up to 11 psi of map pressure.

its actually 1.7bar absolute.

lookup the specs on the denso map....ive tuned 100's of honda's and have yet to see a map sensor even do the full .7bar over absolute since the ecu clamps at 4.5volts and wont allow the full 5

this is why the "high boost" kits for the fit only do 10psi...

part#37830-PNC-003 same map used in the tsx rsx and 03 up accord.
