Fit of Rage installed the controller and invited all of us to test drive his car at teh AJR grand-reopening...

I have to say this controller is prolly one of the MUST GET Mods for all GD/GE owners~ Acceleration / respond is SOOOO MUCH BETTER~

Is the response in eco mode faster or slower than it is when turned off?

Just picked mine up from a fellow fitfreaker. Response in eco mode is more responsive only for lower RPM's because it's more for city driving. It does definitely make it more responsive.

shouldn't there be no difference with actual acceleration? all it does is to simulate a "heavy" foot mashing the gas pedal no? Instead of stepping the gas all the way down to the floor you can just step it 1/2 way and it will get the same effect, thats all it will do right?

the stock drive by wire doesnt let the throttle body open fully until higher rpm. this lets it open sooner, resulting in faster acceleration (will have to shift faster)

I had asked my friend for a quote and then he replied a month later with your throttle controller came in. I got it for a deal. At first i didnt notice it(since im AT) but on the drive home i could tell that the repsponse was a lot better.

I'll try to post vid later.

with the TC off I rev it at 2k rpm, ECO mode it goes up a bit as you get to SP3 it is almost at 4500 or 5,000 rpm and the gas pedal is in the same position.

the throttle controller is switched off everytime you turn off your car, so you have press the On button to activate it again.

if you turn your car off with the throttle controller ON and in SP3 mode, the SP3 mode will be remembered the next time you press the On button.

if you turn the throttle controller off before you turn off the car. the next time you turn your car on and then turn on the blitz, it will start at ECO mode.

I used to have mine mounted right above the OBD port, at the downward angle. Can't really see it from outside and all you have to do is reach and press the on button since you don't need to look at the screen as it remembers the last setting it was on.
