Have you called them at all, Josh?
And clutches dont usually have warranty's. Its a wear item.

It was AJ-R. Josh had called them and they said his order just sat on someones desk.

But they claim is made by Exedy, as a group thing. And Exedy makes probably 95% of all aftermarket clutches. The discs at least.

well according to exedy's site, there is only one clutch available for our cars.

this one specifically says "non-turbo" though

This Part Number Fits:

HONDAHCK1006 2007 - 2007 FIT BASE; SPORT L4; 1.5L; Non-Turbo; Gas(L15A1)

Is it possible that they would have made a performance after market one specifically for a big client like T1R?

spoon doesnt supply "stamps" with wings. I cannot imagine how the body shop would know more about the manufacturing process than spoon.

I can assure you that AJR would NEVER send something out that wasnt 100%. I have dealt with them numerous times and send them looots of customers and never had a issue with them. I HAVE had issues with stupid ups and fedex though =(. but AJR has always sent out quality parts, never a issue on their end.

Just curious, how many miles did u build up ever since the clutch was installed by the Honda dealership?

And under what situation the clutch was slipping in 2nd gear? Outside temperature etc etc....these all factor affected how my stock clutch perform.

Also, when was the last time u bleed your clutch(clutch fluid I meant)?

So this should be considered false advertising, they're advertising a product as something that it is not.

Let me start to clear things up a little here. The T1R clutch is made by Exedy and this is high performance unit and this is NOT OEM replacement. We advertise the clutch as in high performance unit and not RACING. A Racing product has very short life span but it can take up 2 to 3 times of the abbuse.

Here's the link : EXEDY RACING CLUTCH

I have few guys here with the same clutch that we installed and they are all running the T1R Turbo and so far with street driving and so far there are not slipping issues.

FYI, I don't know if anyone here realized that the Fit has clutch delayed problems similar to S2000 04-08. I was having this problem i.e. when I let go the clutch quickly, the clutch wasn't fully engaged so it was slipping.

I've had some issues since 35k miles(now 70k) that has the clutch totally engaged in third gear with low rpms and wot and the rpms slip or hesitate slightly similar to a clutch slipping. Its only happened a handfull of times but only in that situation(jumping on the gas in low rpms in third gear). I've had slipping clutches before and it doesn't actually feel like its slipping.

I wonder if there is something else the car is doing thats with the drive by wire, something I am still learning about. It sounds weird that after installing a brand new clutch, it still slips exactly the same-rated for a certain power or not.

sorry to hear that. i've bought a few things from them and for the money it ain't worth it. very expensive for the quality imo. but that is definately false advertising. doubt you will get your money back though.

maybe that is why someone torched one of their rides (not that i'm condoning that...don't mess with a man's ride) but what goes aound comes around.

I don't know Sam @ AJR all that well but I wonder what he would think about this comment. That's very very nice of you to say that.
