hfp muffler

i went to honda to ask them a question about this they couldnt answer me such scrubs but if u guys can help me. how big is the inlet piping on the hfp axle back? is it like 50mm or is it stock piping and just a muffer?

its a shiny muffler, the parts guys cant tell you what size it is because honda doesnt say what size because they dont care. i thought about one but they are too much money and dont even look that good.

The inlet piping on the HFP muffler is the same diameter as the stock muffler's.

Yes, inlet piping is same size as stock. Inner piping and exit piping is like 2.25 or so(my gustimate). Bought mine off e g a y for a lot less then dealer.

epic fail... thought you know saying "hfp" would be something other then something that looks sporty so no hp gain would come out of it then..

its mainly for sound. its got a nice deep tone that wont attract 5-0 and is legal cuz its a factory part. mines for sale if u want one

You will gain a few ponies but not as much as something like a Spoon axleback. You trade off some hp for a quieter exhaust through.

oh mean i installed my hpf exhaust for now cause the 50 are crazy here so i can get away with a factory exhaust. well i noticed i hvae much shittyer gas milage. from goin 260 a tank i'm like 230. wack.. is it the same with u other guys with the hfp exhaust.

The muffler should not affect milage.
Mine went down a little after putting on the muffler because I was gassing it harder at first. Otherwise, no affect on my milage.

yeah, that's abnormally low mpg considering the speed that people drive at in honolulu - hellllllaaaaaa sloooooooowwwwww! no offense

i agree with Fitting, might just be because you're on the gas more because of the sound

i get around 310 with mine... i drive spritidly i guess haha
