How loud would I be with this setup?

I was thinking about running T1R intake, T1R test pipe, with Greddy TiC. Would anyone have a general idea of how loud that would be?

I think the test pipe gets rid of the cat doesn't it? If so it will be louder.

Shouldnt be REAL loud. Itll make some noise due to the cat-delete. If you leave the B-pipe alone youll probably like it. Only thing you can do is go for it.

The Greddy is really quiet.

im not to privvy on the aftermarket exhaust laws.. but im guessing if I install this test pipe.. it doesnt make the car legal correct? saying if the police pulled me over for my exhaust being too loud and finding out im running no cat, of course.. resulting in me getting a ticket... but what are the chances of that happening if I drive like a granny?

i dunno about where you live but here in dc/md there are a ton of loud cars...running cat deletes too, test pipes, ive heard of people getting tickets for being too loud but theyve never hasseled em about what exactly they have installed. they have some test pipes that can pass physical expections also dont they? just wont pass the sniffer...

Having no cat will not pass your through emisions so it is technically illegal but if you don't drive like a buffooon then you won't have to worry about it.

In most states, tapering with your stock cat is illegal so don't get busted.

Yep, I can't name a state/province that won't ticket you on having your Cat removed if they are in a bad mood.

Test pipe always carries a disclaimer "For Off-road use only" because of that

This is why lowering your car is a GOOD thing, keeps the prying eyes of pesky cops looking for reasons to ticket you from getting under there... although if they ask you if your car is lowered always have an answer prepared! In Canada you can lower up to 10mm (about a 1/2") legally, so that is my answer should I ever get asked

Actually, in almost ALL states any kind of modifications to the OEM exhaust system is illegal.

In CA atleast there are ways to beat this, as im sure in other states as well. It is technically not Illegal. Aftermarket exhausts are REPLACEMENT exhaust. if ANY modificaytions to a OEM exhaust was illegal then everyone that has even a aftermarket OEM exhaust can get a ticket. As long as you have a CAT and your exhaust isnt crazy loud then it isnt illegal. A cop CAN give you a ticket and SAY it is modified but this doesnt mean it is true. "Replacement" is the word

I have had the T1R Intake, Megan Header, T1R B-Pipe, and Greddy Ti-C.

It is loud without the silencer installed. With the silencer installed it was very quiet, barely noticeable infact.

Can't tell you how loud it would be with the test pipe tho since I never had it.

It's not great sounding, but I'm super glad I had it in on my 4000 mile road trip I was on a few weeks ago! lol.

I will have the test pipe installed in about 2-3 weeks. So I will have the test pipe, b-pipe, and Greddy Ti-C axle back. I'm dropping the header and have sold my T1R intake, but they are being replaced by the T1R turbo kit

I'll let you know how retarded loud it will be after its installed haha

the turbo should dampen some of the sound so... it'll be loud, but not as loud as a N/A fit with header back exhaust!

Yes it does. It makes it almost sound like stock if you can believe that. With my header, mid-pipe and Greddy axleback it was super loud, but with the silencer in it was almost back to stock.

I'm pretty sure tho that if you put the silencer in it takes away almost all power that you would've gained from having it out.
