Thumbs up I've made up my mind: Full Spoon N1 catback exhaust

Yup, I truly believe that the Full Spoon N1 catback exhaust is the proper way to go because this exhaust sounds the least obnoxious out of all the bunch out there. I know Tanabe has one that's quiet as well but I don't like the muffler tip that much. I really don't want to sound like I'm full throttle when I'm cruising on the freeway.

great choice! i wish i had the Gil to afford that combo

i've got an Apexi World Sport II + Megan mid-section. much more 'subtle' in terms of sound than the Spoon N1 IMHO. i haven't heard the Spoon N1 in person, but in the videos it sounds like it's screaming bloody hell at WOT

the spoon n1 is loud?

i have one and i don't think it's loud at all, well at least from the inside.

some people have different thoughts on what's loud and not loud
to me i think the n1 is pretty quiet.
i'm going to be opening it up with a test pipe soon so hopefully that will be where i want it to be as far as sound.

Yeah I've heard the spoon and it's loud IMO. Try Tanabe Touring Medallion or the Megan dual tip exhaust.

*Those are just axelbacks btw

well to me it's not lol
some people say otherwise but being almost near stock sound level when cruising and then being kinda loud when stepping on it is not loud to me

it's that stupid CAT! it has to go!

there seems to be a lot of different thoughts on what is loud and not. Seeing as I own the set you your going to buy it cant hurt to put up my thought.

The exhaust has a very nice sound to it with out being overly loud, obnoxious or raspy. Just to give you a idea of what i drive like i have the front windows down every chance I have and the radio volume is any where from 15-24. after about 4000rpm the exhaust realy starts to scream and make a lot of noise but still IMO not obnoxious and has a very good sound. For the most part when just cruising around with the car under 3000 rpm you will barely notice it. You can kind of hear the exhaust but its more of a nice back ground noise if anything.

Ok, maybe the Spoon N1 & b-pipe combo might be a bit loud but i like the fact that it's a Spoon. you can't go wrong with Spoon. (except their drop in filter)

I used to live in Japan

Yes, I was actually living in Japan and I've been inspired by the Japanese Tuners that the most subtle mods on their car is the best way to go. The whole time I was in Japan, the cars didn't look modded (unless they wanted you to know that it was). The coolest car I ever rode in my Japanese co-worker's Toyota MR2. Other than the rims and the exhaust, it looked stock, it sounded stock, and it sure wasn't stock! He let me drive it on the freeway, it was really quiet till I floored it. That was the only time I heard the exhaust. Dude, I pretty much raped the pavement, every gear I shifted to threw us back to our seats, it was awesome. I want to tune my Fit like that, but maybe not as fast. I've got something/someone to live for now and racing just seems stupid. Here's a photo of my friend Tomoya's MR2. Kinda big but I heard that's how Fit owners like it!!!

That MR2 is gangster
so you used to work in japan?

I have the N1 catback system and it is definately loud anywhere above 3500RPM's. Below that, isnt bad though.

I would cruise at 80 on the freeway and couldnt understand people in my back seats when they talked to me, and this was with the windows up.

Now that I'm boosted though, the noise has been dampened quite a bit.

J's if not too much out of your price range.

If not go with Invidia (can vouch for Invidia makes great products) or Skunk 2.
