so i'm in a little trouble now. i took to to two shops today and one of them wont even do it saying thats its just too big. the other one said they could but it leaves me with four options:

1. cut up my megan mid-pipe and weld it to that. cost $60
2. make it an axleback with a flange so i can switch back if needed. $80
3. sell the megan mid-pipe and have them do a full cat-back. $????
4. just don't use the exhaust and try to sell it.

i want to do number 2 and i think the price is ok... but i'm not too sure he can do it. he didn't really take a look at how little room there is back there -_-

what do you guys think.. ??

make it into an axle back...

i mean how much i would love for you to have a custom full catback. but trust me...you will want to switch it up again.

so make a custom piping.

make sure you do like 2.5" pipe axle back...because with all the bends in that..itll make it out to be like 2" exhaust.

Yea.. Axle-back it. If you want a change, sell it as an axle-back.
I was charged $60 for my flanged axle-back.

$60 is what i was thinking so i'm gonna go around to other shops to see what price i could get. i did a kinda test fit to see if there was gonna be room back there and it looks like that back of the pipe will be really close to hitting the springs so might have to have it come out at an angle, it would make it easier to make a pipe fit without to many bends.. just look at the size of this thing

and it also weighs maybe 2 to 3 times heavier then the stock.. should i worry about that?

i just got back from the muffler shop. got it made into an axle-back and it sounds really nice. not loud at all, very low rumble the only thing i don't like is that the muffler is too long so they had to do it at an angle. it look ok though. and because its so heavy, it wiggles around when ever i shut the door and go over bumps. might also scrape cause it hangs low. i'll have pics and sound clip up later on today..

gonna paint the back black sometime next week, i think it will look better that way.

video doesn't sound like how it really feels. much deeper in real life but still here you go:

YouTube - honda fit with Stromung exhaust

the exhaust is much much heavier then the stock and the hangers are stretching the rubber part a lot. should i be worried about that?

I like the look. I looks best from the top view. The back view it looks a little big. I agree, you need to paint the back black to make it blend in a little better form the back view.

Still over all a very nice looking and unique looking setup.

Im going to be honest. (and an ass) Fitment looks really bad.
I would have removed it already. When I was getting my TL muffler installed the guy tried do install it like that. I refused to let him do it.

I held the muffler in the place I wanted it.

You could have put the muffler straight out. It would have took more work... but the tips are baffled.
If they werent baffled what I would have did was cut the tips off, shorten them, probably in half. Then the muffler could have came straight out.

Or cut the back open.. Thats scary
