Exhaust question for someone smart!

Ok so I have a T1R cai and I just put on the weapon r intake manifold but dont have anything other then a stock exhaust on my a/t fit. Am i robbing myself of horsepower by not lettin the engine breath or are these mods the best i can expect horsepower wise from my car. I havent really noticed a significant difference from stock.

Thanks
Steve

Not sure how it'll effect the fit, but on my accord running an intake, intake mani, header, and full catback made my car run way too rich. It may do the same on the fit

You can only benefit from a header-back or cat-back exhaust. Yes, your setup is restricting your possible horsepower gains to a certain extent.

And if a header-back or cat-back exhaust makes the car run rich, then just get the fuel computer that's offered with the WR intake mani.

If you increase the amount of air coming in, you should increase the amount getting out for maximum benefit.

im not smart

but i do know if you increase the air like everyone said, and keeping stock exhuast....you are just creating more back pressure. you will see more gains in torque and very little in the horsepower.

once you open it up from the header back...you should be fine. even though i heard somewhere that the intake manifold makes your car run lean...so a tune would help too

I tend to treat my cars the same why I treat myself.
If I take a DEEP breath in, but then slowly or only partially exhale while I'm exercising/running etc. well, I won't get very far before I'm exacerbated.
Same with a car.
So yes, I'm echoing what's been said already, but sometimes people get concepts visually more so then auditory or just reading...

just my 2cents...

Just remember and engine is really just a complicated air pump, so think of it that way.

None of your mods did much for you and different exhaust back systems won't help much either. To get real power gains you need camshaft profiles, valve work, or in addition intake boost, and then intake and exhaust mods. Ewpecially headers.
You might start with Isky and see what they offer.
