So your parents & your gf isn't in town all the times then? If that's the case, swap the stock muffler back man! That's just a 5min job to swap a muffler and u will be able to talk to your gf & your parents without raising your voice.

U really cannot compare a 2.0L DOHC VTEC block with a damn little L15 that we have in our car. Most of the SOHC D15/D16 runs stronger than a L15. And most of us know a dead slow small 1.5/1.6L civic looks stupid with a screaming loud exhaust(hey is the car moving YET!?), it's just the same case on our Fit.

As I remember the Invidia catback isn't full stainless steel right? 800ish is really reasonable for a full stainless steel catback. I still remember those days that a lot of us need to pay over 1k+ cad for a 5zigen fireball or border304 speed, APEXi N1 catback etc.

I would say from what your comparing the v2 vs n1. I would say the performance is there in both exhausts. If you want a quiet deep tone exhaust, go for the 50s v2. If you want something louder, go for the N1. either way you cant go wrong.....
Agreed. If u are only going to get a SPOON N1 muffler and no plan on getting aftermarket B pipe, and header etc, then it really won't be that loud. However it's another story if u're gonna get header & b-pipe in the future.

OK let's do it this way, bolt on muffler(muffler, no header, test pipe, B-pipe) wise:

T1R 50s ver.2 muffler: 1/2
SPOON N1 muffler:
J's racing muffler: (higher pitch compare with the SPOON N1 due to the Ti material)

catback exhaust wise(with resonated SPOON b-pipe or T1R b-pipe, stock header & stock cat):
T1R 50s ver.2 catback: 1/2
SPOON N1 catback: 1/2
J's racing catback(can't really compare coz the J's Ti b-pipe have no resonator??): 1/2

If you got test pipe & header, add another one or two depends if u have only one of them installed or BOTH!

IMHO, I will go for either a header or test pipe on a Fit but not going for the full header back exhaust. I do not want to sacrifice the low end & throttle response with a header back setup(yea it's shitty enough). If you are running SRI/CAI intake, u might wanna think whether or not u are going for a header back or not.

Just FYI gmane, ever since I swapped my SPOON oval type muffler back on to my car I can notice a louder exhaust note compare with the 50s ver.2, especially after the exhaust's warmed up. T1R is better from mid-high rpm range, and my SPOON sports oval type muffler is better from low-mid range.

This was really detailed !!! so you'd say go header/stock cat/b-pipe/exhaust or just header/stock cat, stock b-pipe/exhaust? I was thining of going with my first option.. what do you think?

If you want it quieter, just get aftermarket header & a 50s Ver.2 if u don't wanna swap muffler when u need to give your parents a ride. That should improve the flow but u won't lose too much low-mid range. If u like it a bit louder & don't mind swapping mufflers then go for the SPOON N1 bolt on muffler with a header. I believe the gain is identical between the two.

Header+stock cat+aftermarket catback will be ideal for road courses with longer straights & high speed corners. Not too practical the track has a lot of tight turns & uphill sections.....

where'd you buy your spoon oval type muffler? i think that will be the best choice for me.. then go for b-pipe ummm.. haha
