crower cam
i emailed Crower awhile ago to see if they were gonna release a cam anytime soon and i finally got a response.
"thats something that we would love to do since the fit is becoming very popular.we would need some cores first then go from there on making a few grinds and possibly some valvetrain a big help would be a complete head"
so here is to hoping they can make a cam soon

Contact skunk2 or rocket motor sports about cam....rocket can make a cam to any spec you need if you just send your cam to him...i wouldnt trust crower with any motor after one crower cam after another broke over the years in customers drag cars.

don't hold your breath guys. Just how much power do you think a cam would make?
5whp maybe? So with all those bolt ons, you could possibly see a whopping 90-100whp. Wooo. instead of high 17s or low 18s in the quarter, you could run low 17s! woot!

Thanks for sharing this info. I would imagine that a there would have to be other purchases made to reprogram to make the most of the valve timing changes, unless the duration changes are minimal.

both spoon and noblesse have the know how to do all the tuning in house and custom machine their own parts to whatever specs they want. the rest of us have to rely on on companies to mass produce parts for us unless you want to shell out he money for custom valve train or cams.

When you start messing with cam lift and duration, you always have to do other expensive changes that include a complete tear down of the engine, to see any kind of benefit in performance. Changing the camshaft without at least replacing the pistons with a bumped up compression ratio would have a very negative effect on the power band. Forced induction isn't without drawbacks either. When I compare the cost involved, with the price of a second hand sport bike and its operating cost, I start looking for space in my garage. Add to that, the cost of remapping.
