Weight of L15

I hope this is not a repost, ive searched everywhere and havnt found a straight answer.

How heavy is the L15?

it looks like you could just pull it out of the engine bay its so small.

To be honest, I dunno what the actual weight is, but I know it's 10% lighter than a D15 engine.

I don't but I'm going to call a friend tomorrow when the junkyard opens to see if he has one he can weigh for me.

Not sure how helpful this is, but the 1NZ-FE 1.5L in the first gen Scion xB's is apx. 185lbs. Being that the L15 is very similar size-wise it's also probably similar weight-wise as well I'd imagine.

Another thing to consider is dry weight -vs- full wet weight. With an engine this light I would think that the fluids may cause as much as 30% or so weight gain.

That seems a bit high. Is that a guess or do you know something that we don't know?
