So starting with a new header what is next? Does it go Header-down pipe-B pipe- muffler? Also, say i buy the skunk2 60mm full system, what will i need for the the headers or will anyone fit. Stock headers will fit, along with the stock cat-converter. Cat-back is from the cat-converter back.

your exhaust system is basicly made out of 4 parts,
header => cat => b-pipe => axel back muffler.

you can replace any of these. if you are gona by a cat back exhaust system, then your replacing everything from the cat back, so your replacing your bpipe and rear muffler. You can still upgrade to a better more free flowing muffler or stay with stock it doesnt matter. well performance wise it does, but eh, hope this helps

From the header then next would be the cat, then b-pipe, and finally the muffler.
Cat (as in catalic converter back)back system are meant to replace everything after the cat. They usually bolt up to the stock cat.
Axle back would be just the muffler.
Axle back are design to bolt to the stock b-pipe and that own company b-pipe if they have one. Some axle back can bolt up to other manufacturers b-pipe. Check first if you plan on getting b-pipe and muffler from different company to see if they can bolt up to each other.
Hope this help.

i say rock the weapon r race header and the skunk2 60mm catback. personally im not a big fan of the skunk2 catback...but thats what you wanted.

from experience i loved my buddy club race spec3, but it got annoying after awhile so i swapped it back to a quiet muffler.

but yeah.....like everyone says header-s-pipe-b pipe-axleback

I wouldn't get the 60mm version.Go for their 50mm.The 60 is for more heavy modded Fit's(ie...Super/Turbocharged).That's why most of exhaust's for the Fit are are smaller than 60mm.It will hurt low end performance(where you do 90% of your driving).

90% of my driving? In Inland Empire and socal mountains. So just to get this right is goes Header-->CAT-->B pipe-->Muffler. And one more thing how do you know which aftermarket headers will bolt up right to other exhaust systems?

60mm IS TO BIG.The only reason Skunk2 made a 60mm was because they turbo'd their car for Street Tuner Challange. That's why Skunk also offer's a 50mm.All companies...Tanabe(Concept G/Medalion)Apex-i/AJ racing's own Race car/Spoon Sport's(one of the top tuner's)along with/Mugan(and Mugen)the other top tuner's....ALL use 50mm on their race car's and for selling to public. So no you don't need a 60mm exhaust. If it made more power they would all use it.But it's your money.

BECAUSE They are all designed to work with the stock exhaust system it's called manufacturing standards. And then all the replacement high performance parts are ALSO designed to Stock fitments (pun intended) specifications so they Fit together just like stock because they are built to stock connection specifications.

And why are you yelling... using giant type fonts is the same as SHOUTING!!

I'm highlighting the companies that make muffler's/exhaust for the Fit.Plus when I said 90% of driving is done in city,I get a response like,"Well not where I live."I was just trying to help him out(being new)and I felt like he was attacking the info/fact's I was giving him. Also his whole question was in the same type as mine.

HIS point is theres really no difference in price. As for ME, i was planning from the beginning to get some pretty serious mods, and i think my 60mm will compliment my supercharger just right I have nothing but positive things to say about it, even though I'm still NA at this point (ie: no low end power loss like you're claiming) and I've had it on for over 6K miles.

First off,I said nothing about price.I don't care what exhaust anyone buy's or like's.It's not like I get paid for saying it,I was trying to help and say almost every race car/time attack car (SPOON53mm/AJ's50mm)use a smaller size.Just because you might happen to own it,I'm not attacking that choice.I'm just going to believe Race Team's know a little something about how to make the Fit better.2nd if you supercharge your Fit,it's a good idea like I post eariler.3rd I'm not claiming lose of power,I'm telling you what people that have owned the Skunk2(60mm) tell me.You might not feel or have the problem, but other's do.If you all agree you know better go ahead,I was trying to tell of POSSIBLE side effect's of to big exhaust(Bigger isn't alway's better when it come's to exhaust's).

I didn't say anything about the price(in dollar form).I just said,it's your money if you want that exhaust, but I think it could be better spent on another exhaust if your planning on not doing many mod's to your Fit(which your going Supercharger so I understand your purchase). As far as liking it that's cool.I like some of Skunk's product's also, but I noticed on this(along with other's)Forum's,if you don't like something another person has, they take it personal.I don't care what you have/or like(not you Rexx)on your Fit,just like you might not like my Fit.That's why there's not just one product out there.Like I said a few time's,I was simply trying to HELP the new member's out on their choice's and show that most Time Attack Fit's run 50mm or a little bigger exhaust.
