Trying to decide on an intake for my fit but trying to find the most HP gain. So please post pics and HP gain of the intake you are running right now. Thanks.

what are your plans for the car i/h/e? If youre gonna go turbo i wouldnt bother spendig a lot of # on a intake. i plan on going turbo or sc not sure yet, so i just got a cheap ebay cai.

eBay Motors: 2007+ Honda Fit 1.5L M/T Cold Air Intake + Free K&N (item 260209195710 end time Feb-08-08 20:48:38 PST)

looks just like the fujita one but with a k&n filter and no fujita tags(havent seen a fujita up close so cant say how the craftsmanship is compared to it)
but works just fine. if youre gonna go i/e/h i would def pick a diff intake tho...

Don't know my plans yet just want to get an idea of what most people are running out there.

Was thinking of getting a cold air at first, but then saw that sweet carbon box intake and really like that also, just looking around to see what will give me the most horse power for now.

I'm running the T1R carbon chamber intake. Good HP gains (no dyno from me) but the dyno's are posted somewhere in the AJ-Racing section. The majority of people in Vancouver are running the T1R chambered intake because it has the best gains compared to any other intake out there. (not sure about the j's intake though).

Butt Dyno felt an improvement over stock throughout the powerband.

Thats the intake I am interesed in the T1R and also the new HPS cold air and the AEM cold and Mishimoto carbon intake, these are on my top list.

Any ideas or suggestions, being as am in miami the heat here is sick so that is why I was looking for a cold air intake, but like the stuff I have been here for the T1R and Mishimoto.

You're not going to be able to tell a difference, so

a: get the cheapest one you can find if you don't care if your engine bay is "tight, yo!"

or

b: get the most expensive/rare looking one you can find, or if you dont go to meets, the one with the most foreign sounding/looking name. Be sure there is an "R" or an "S" at the end.

i painted the one i got blue, looks great in the engine bay ;D and yeah like he said you really wont tell a much of a difference(if any besides sound). should get the cheap one and put the couple hundred $'s you'll save towards something that will actually give you a decent hp gain.

custom made one myself with some tubing from local store and filter like k&n cone..big diff in sound..not huge in hp /torque because all wont give you that much anyways..think biggest gains with the Fit will be supercharnger, turbo or like on a post on this forum from the greddy ecu adjuster..where it went from like 82 whp to 100+whp..

What, What? ECU adjuster? Gain from 82 (A/T I presume) to 110whp?
Do you have a link or can you elaborate. Is this like a piggyback module that is pre-tuned?

Tell us more!!!!!!!!!

There's the dyno, and the 24hp gain is a glitch. Look at the sheet and see for yourself. All it did was add a couple HP between 5k and 5500 RPM, with peak numbers staying about equal.
