Tips n Advice to install a new exhaust

Hi everyone. I recently got a bonus from work and decided to get my jazz a new present. so i got this!

(its a spoon exhaust and b pipe)

im hoping to install this asap but since im not much of a 'car person' i dont have much experience with this sort of thing.

so im wondering.... for those who have installed one, do you have any advice or any gotchas that i should look out for while putting it on?

thanks!

pretty simple....take off the bolts, undo the hanger thingys and replace it.

heres a tip for the hangers.

take a set of needle nose pliers. put one end on the rubber hanger and then the other on the point of the metal thats in the rubber.( the exhaust hanger) and squeeze...that should push the rubber off the exhaust hanger.

and make sure you have a breaker bar for those bolts.

^^ I also put WD-40 on rubber exhaust hanger's and they slipped on and off so much easier. Also 2 more thing's I learned.First if your skinny like me,you don't really even have to jack the car up to put the muffler section on.2nd it's a good idea to put your new exhaust of a beach towel when you slide it under your car so you don't scratch up your new exhaust and the floor

mine came off without WD40. just use some mechanic's gloves and
some umph and the hangers come off without issue.

I took mine to a good local muffler shop. IMO I feel like I am getting a better seal on the exhaust with the high impact gun for the bolts. Leaks sux!!

if you can't install it yourself or don't have the right tools then take it to a muffler shop and have it professionally installed.

Thanks for the advice guys.

i think ive got all the tools to do the job only thing i havent got is to lubricate it off. you think some ky jelly will do... only joking

i think ill waiting till a couple (petrol head) mates of mine are free to supervise, i dont want to end up being stuck under the car and all that.
