the only way they can void your warranty is if they cause the problem

And if you end up with a problem BECAUSE you didn't have the header heat shield in place Honda could void the warranty and you would have to pay for repairs. That being said lots of guys on here run headers with no problems. A header is a pretty basic swap so I don't think you'd have any problems as long as you got it installed by a pro.

Ha! They'll tell you whatever, but at the end of the day, they can get over-ruled on warranty work.

Here's an idea: keep the car emissions legal. No worries then!

The dealer will probably look at it but not say anything. I know my dealer gave me a funny look when they saw my cf mani cover, fujita short ram, and megan header but they didnt say anything. It was kinda funny though because the guy who did my oil called a bunch of his buddies over and they all looked at it and were shaking there heads. honestly i dont think that it will void your warranty cause the dealer has to prove that whatever happened was because of the mod you installed which isnt easy. I wouldnt worry about it but thats my opinion.

Aiite thanks guys! I'll be investing in a header soon (can't really consider it investing unless its mugen... hahaha) haha but yeah.

I have no idea what emissions are legal in CA are but i figure, as long as i leave the cat converter in there, i should be fine. I only plan to get headers and a mid pipe (as far as the exhaust and i already have an axel), but i appreciate all your guys' input.
