help with Voltage Stabilizer !!
does installing a voltage stabilizer actually make a difference in yours performance and gas milage ? are there any actually proves ? dyno graphs and actually experience they can share.
if so what are the difference between all these. some i see sel for $400 and some are just $80 ?

i have noticed my lights dim when i make any changes with my electrical stuff, a voltage stabilizer would stop that. i have been considering one lately. i just got my fit so i havent had the ac on yet, its really hot in the summer here in west ky so im assuming when you are driving and you turn the ac on, you can feel the acceleration drop off right? this will also help that.

There are many types of these products on the market but some of them used high quality components to achieve better results. For example, a watch is a watch, Swatch or Rolex, thats your choice.
Good luck !

Here's the thread Claymore was referring to:

When you read it I'd say take both sides of the debate with a grain of salt. Some people are just not satisfied unless there's a scientific study done on the effects of a VS, which is unrealistic, while others will say they feel significant gains like nothing they've felt before, which is also suspect. Neither side will give an inch to the other. In my experience, the truth is in between in that there are gains, but they're subtle and not directly HP related. In my case, I noticed a smoother idle, better mid-range response, and an increase of about 2-3 mpg when I installed my T1R Ignition Booster. For you, go read the thread and take it from there.

All it does is provide a common ground so the connected commponents can have similiar ground and avoid ground loops. It can also provide better ground. Better ground=less resistance=higher volatage=better spark=better performance.
By simply replacing your ground on battery terminal, block and tranny you can increase performance on your engine. A ground kit will take care of ground loop issues.
So it all depends if you think it's worth it. If you know basic electronics you know OHM's law and know that this CAN have a positive effect. So it all depends if you think it's worth the cost.

5 WHP for just pennies??? ohh yeah!! - K20A.org .:. The K Series Source . Honda / Acura K20a k24a Engine Forum
I think, that's work. Wy, you down the negative resistor to aprox. 0 ohm. You make a greater Delta voltage = better high voltage.
