stupid ? auto to manual

i have an automatic white fit sport. i reallly regret not getting a manual. it's a new car and not even six months old. i don't really want to get rid of it. but has anyone with an auto wanted to switch to manual? i should have just waited a few months to order one instead of making do with the auto. tranny swap anyone?

i did the exact same thing, i want the 5speed so bad now.....i think its worth it for us just to keep the auto, otherwise we'll get raped somehow.

just hold onto it, and enjoy the ease of automatic.....we did choose it

if it was me...id do it and just finance the extra $...the manual is fun...but then again ive never tried the paddle shifters, but cant imagine it would be nearly as much fun.

if this is ur dailydriver its not worth it imo, enjoy it for what it is...manual is more fun to drive, but seriously u can use that money else where...but if u got an extra $10 grand just there to spend, the options are endless

I traded in my brand new 07 civic ex for my fit and have never looked back. i'm much happier with this car and even though I lost a some money I don't regret it at all! I would recommend that you TEST DRIVE a manual fit though a few times before committing to this.

From a cost issue trade it in for amanual. You will spend several thousand modding you car to be a manual vesus maybe losin a few grand. If it was an old civic hatch or something different story but on a brand new car just trade it.

if you want to swap right now, I would trade it in for a manual. But I am in the same situation---however, I am NOT trading this car in. I want to possibly do a swap years after my payments are up and run high boost. Also, years down the road, a plethora of internals should be available(pistons, rods, etc.)

Big Helper for you

Hey GUY I hope be a BIG helper for the people that really want to do the AT to MT project. As for myself I planned to do the same things at the beginning, but something happen so I have to give it up.

Guys if you doing it, you will need the MT ECU from the MT Fit to make everything works, right?? I got one in my home and it sitting here for nothing, do you guys want to buy it??

The ECU is brand NEW never been used, I got it from AJ Racing in this site.

It is hard to find a brand new ECU especially is the Fit ECU, buz is not much totaled Fit around the state. I'm looking for $730USD/690CAD SHIPPED (that's what I pay for).

I'm not going to make any $$ from it, I just want to get away of it. If you guys don't trust me, you can PM AJ Pwr Jr from AJ Racing to ask him did I order the ECU from them.

thank you
Stan

**If you interested PLZ PM me!!! I will hold the ECU for you (whoever PM me first)
