megan midpipe

i just installed my megan mid pipe i already had the mega header and the megan axle back. the midpipe bolted up nicely to my cat but the axleback well its not a flush mount, there is a gap. i know that there are no leaks and with the doughnut gasket and spring screws ,it doesnt matter how flush just as long as there isnt a leak! just wondering if anyone else noticed this.
by the way it sounds sweet and i have definitely noticed a gain in the mid-range and no this isnt the lacebo effect"!

it's suppose to have a gap, hence the springs. As long as the flat part of the bolt is at the B-pipe and not on the exhaust.

anybody install this with stock axle back?? I am curious if there is any gains. I am looking for a couple hp, but without the sound and flash of an axleback. I already have a loud annoying car, dont need the daily like that!

I had the mid pipe and the downpipe bolted toa stock exhaust. it's quite and it makes it quick but it makes a raspy sound of a ghetto exhaust uneder the car because of the restriction to the exhaust.

the megan axle back is very subtle. i too didnt want the loud pissed off bumble bee sound, but this megan system is sweet!
