L15 specs

what is the USDM fit's specs

compression ratio?
vavle reliefs on pistons?
how much can the head be milled down to up the HP
has anybody modded the ECU to allow a higher redline?
anybody make head parts for our motors?

I have played with the d15/16 etc in the early-mid 90's and just wanted to know if anybody had this info yet. Sounds like back to the drawing board, but just though I'd throw it out since everybody is into turbo's and SCs.

This motor is similar in function to the vtec-e engines with quite a few differences, but similar capabilities. Forced induction is the chosen method of tuning due to the lack of support for forged internals, no camshafts (due to vtec operational constraints) and relatively high compression stock (over 10-1). Many of these topics have been covered if you search. For big power gains it seems the k-swap is the route. I'm looking forward for the new iteration which should have similar vtec operation to the k series motors which should ease the ability to swap in those motors. Looks as if bolt ons are the only easily accessible route to more power currently.
