A ratchet kit... 12mm if I remember corectly.
If you want, you can jack your Fit by the rear tow
hook and put 2 jack stand at both rear (right/left)
jack location but I did it without lifting the car...
You could also remove the right rear wheel for better
access but it's not necessery (spel???)
You may need a new exhaust bushing/gasket (the donut
between the pipe and the axleback) but if your car
is new, it should be easy to remove, if not, it's a
$5 thing that you can buy at auto parts or Honda dealer...

You SHOULD use a new crush gasket whenever you R&R the muffler. They distort with each R&R and then leak. Another helpful tool is a large slip-joint pliers like "ChannelLock"'. This tool makes it easy to pull the rubber doughnut hangers over the hooks to hang the muffler. A little silicone grease also eases getting the hanger doughnuts over the hooks on the muffler and the underbody.

I took my muffler off without any jacks. Got on the ground with my ratchet.
Also, some sort of penetrating spray/lube. The rubber hangers arent much fun.
BLAH, I got beat to it. The donut will be fine. Just use the old one. Its not like the Fit is a 15yr old car.
