Im going to get this exhaust soon! Im going to paint mine black aswell, it improves the look alot and seems to be pretty simple!

I was at a local Fit meet over the weekend and i heard manx's Megan axle back and that sold me on it! It sounded great, and not loud at all!

How'd you paint it? Did you sand the metal before painting? And how long did you let it cure after the final coat? (or would the heat of the exhaust cure the paint?)

Sanded it down, sprayed it once lightly, sprayed it twice more in 10 minute increments. I let it sit in the sun during late Spring for about 2 hours before sticking it back on the car and let it sit on the car for about another 2 hours. I honestly didn't really care how well it was going to look since the only purpose of painting it black was so that it wasn't noticed. So far so good, I think the heat of the muffler itself kinda cured the paint pretty well.

I AGREE . I DONT LIKE THE CROME LOOK ESPECIALLY WITH MY WHITE FIT . SO I TOOK YOUR ADVICE. LOOKS WAY BETTER

Should've came from the factory like that. My mod is becoming popular haha. For such a simple thing it makes a real drastic difference.

I just did mine, i painted it before i even put it on the car..It looks great!
