you can purchase both as cat backs or axle backs. The Bpipe and the axleback are sold seperate. Personally i like the way the Js looks over the Spoon, However the Js is expensive.

James has the Spoon cat back. as do i but i wont be going to the meet.

J's looks nice (burnt tip and angled down) spoon is typical N1 Style.

i would imagine both to be loud....i know the spoon is. and like chris said both can be had as axle back or car back.

i got my spoon cat back for about 850.00 i picked up parts though...no shipping.

I like the Spoon sound better (louder and deeper). It's also nicer to me. I dont' like the burnt titanium look. What i LOVE abou tthe J's racing one, is that from cat back it weights in at 6lb!!!! now if they could only take off a "0" at the end of teh price, i'd buy it NOW!!

Here's a prime opportunity for those who have either of these to post up a picture, and if possible a sound clip, and... if at all possible... a reliable dyno chart.

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

mine is the 1st one. that's with windows up and then down. the clanking is my T1R coilovers hitting the a-arm. i have bpipe and axle back on.

the other 3 were from a past member. i bought his intake. he had all 3 parts installed which included b-pipe, testpipe, and axle back.

I really do, think in reality, that they both sound very similar, but the cost of Spoon is less and I like how it looks more. I’m not really into burnt titanium.

I have the spoon b pipe and the tanabe concept g axle back. I love the sound from the tanabe axle back. Its not to loud not to quiet. I noticed some more peppiness with the b pipe, axle back and spoon drop in filter installed. Thinking about getting the spoon exhaut manifold soon. Just waiting to see what I want to do. Boost, engine swap, ect. Oh yeah, I have this on a VBP sport auto. Couldn't be happier.
