I was actually part of the R&D for this intake and finally got mine during my christmas break. I was finally able to install it over the weekend.
The Box
Inside
So here is my engine bay before the install
As you can see I do have there drop-in kit which help me gain some mpg
The removal for the stock air box was to easy took about 2mins
So after getting everything ready to install I ran into a snag
The tube didnt flush well to the throttle body as you can see
But after playing around I finally got it to mate and now it sets pretty
The only concern I have is that its really close to the radiator cap
So after starting it up and checking for any leaks or loose ends I probable missed, it was time for test run.
Right off the bat I notice nice throttle response, acceleration is nice around 3k-5.5k & really throaty between those rpms but mostly after 4k it gets deep.
Afterwards I took it on the fwy later on that night and I got to say its really like high speeds. When Im doing 65 and want to accellerate it goes without a hitch.
Overall its nice product by K&N, though the install was little hard but if you wrench on cars it shouldnt be that difficult.

I had to tweak the heatshield just alittle to mate with pipe.
