Question on 1st gen EGR valve

I took out my EGR, trying to clean it, but i can't seem to be able to push the valve down at all. I've seen some video on EGR valve and they seems to be able to push the valve easily... is mine completely stuck? Or there is a very stiff spring holding it?

The Honda valves pintle does not push in. It extends outward when it opens.

The valve itself is not a usual problem, but the passages and ports in the intake manifold tend to clog.

I already opened up the intake port and they looked fine, the only other place left is really the EGR. Does anyone know how to hook the pins up so that I can manually activate the EGR valve?

What fault code do you have?

Terminals 4 (pink) and 6 (black, ground) operate the valve
The other 3 wires are for the positions sensor.

I don't have any code, but the car would misfire or stutter at high rpm or at idle.
