Abs light on

2007 Fit, base model

ABS light came on. My reader returned 21-1 and 61-1 codes.

The reader says the 21-1 code is the front right speed sensor. And the 61-1 is a system low voltage.

I am guessing the 21-1 can be cleared by checking / replacing the hall effect sensor and hopefully the 61-1 code will go away after that.

When it says right side, does it mean right side as in US car passenger side or right side as you stand at the front bumper looking at the engine bay?

Also, I was going to clear the codes using the scanner, but I got a warning that some Honda vehicles may require VLS re calibration. Is this a legit thing I have to worry about or some generic message?

200+ views and no responses. I must have stumbled into problem only the dealer can handle.

The good news is the code went away. Hopefully it does not come back.

Low voltage codes set when the battery gets weak. Very common to see during a scan test.

Left and right on any vehicle are determined as you sit in the drivers seat facing forward.

21-11 in my service manual...right front magnetic encoder malfunction, pulse missing...
If it went away on its own, that's great.
