Changed the engine from a 2002 into a 2004. Idle problems then 2000RPM

Hello.

What problems can arise when you change engine in a Jazz 2002 to an engine from a jazz with the 2004 engine (both 1.4 liters)?

I have problems with idle now 2000 rpm, I have changed to the intake manifold from the old engine.

What problems are there with this kind of engine replacement?

Your has a manual throttle body and the idle can be manually adjusted. Look at your throttle cable right near the TB there is a sleeve with threads on it which can be adjusted.

First disconnect the throttle cable and see how it idles and adjust at the TB for idle then adjust the cable so it doesn't raise the idle.

I hope you're right about that!
It would be wonderful to bring order to the car.

If there are more people who have suggestions then all of them welcome to answer :-)

Will try this as loudbang says first :-)

Thanks Loudbang.
Im happy now, and hope you have right about this

Hello.

Have tried to turn down the idle speed but it did not work at all.

Got a tip after a car repairman read the fault codes and he said it was wrong on the Map sensor and possibly an electrical load sensor for high voltage.
Map sensor does not respond = defective repairman said.

Is there anyone here who has experience in engine replacement in a Honda Jazz with original engine from 2002 to a new engine in 2004?

Map sensors are cheap get a new one and see what is happening.

IF you have high voltage problems that mean the regulator in the alternator is malfunctioning. Easy to check put a voltmeter on the battery and take a reading it shouldn't read over 14.2-14.6 volts just above idle speed.

Thank you for your answers :-)

Just above idle speed, you say, but my idle speed is 2000 rpm....

Why mention this with the high voltage of the battery?

Is the high idle related to high voltage from the regulator / alternator?

Can I measure the current into the map sensor?

What voltage should it be?
There are three pins in the map sensor, which pins you measure at?

This just shows it going to the ECM open in Internet explorer to see the photos

Wiring Diagram

This shows how to check it. the tool they are talking about just sounds like a multimeter for checking the voltage

DTC Troubleshooting: P0108 (3-2) (5MT)

Thanks again!

I try this, and I'll be back :-)) and I hope this work after I change the map sensor :-)) But I check it up first.
