THANKS!
Its not easy to replace the glass, but the video had all the info needed to complete a successful mirror glass replacement in about 15 min!
(And yes the strange Snookie like person who broke the glass for no reason, is suffering They tried to smash my car's windows as well, but the Fit is too strong. I am so happy that my mirror glass is replaced.)

Fixed the mirror gearbox.
Thanks for the video!! After removing the glass on my dad's Jazz (South African 1.4 DSi) we managed to open the gearbox (for folding action) and fix a broken gear inside. It is a gear that fits onto a metal worm gear shaft. We managed to glue the 2 halves with epoxy and strengthen it with a washer on each side of the gear. We had to break the gearbox open, it had stretchy glue holding it together. We learnt later during assembly that we should have first unplugged the connector going into the top id the gearbox with a rubber grommet. I think we almost damaged the motor or connectors when we pulled it apart. Fixing it ourselves saved my dad a lot of money.
I suspect this is not supposed to be a serviceable part, so we already found a 2nd hand mirror that we could buy in case we where not successful.
