The back should take about 5 minutes to do becuase you don't have to take the spring off of the struts. The front should take about 30 minutes...

Try this Thread
At first I thought it would be hard since it was a different setup than the civic & integra. Took a good 1hr 30min since I had to compress the springs & the rear is the easiest thing to do.

Total install for me took about 2 1/2 hours for eibach springs. it was my first ever car springs install so it was a learning process (i had springs on my integra but someone else did it) and I also had the help of Rcantu. Front took sooooooo long because compressing the springs and back took like 10-15 min. But yeah paying over 100 bucks for someone to install springs on your car is absurd. Invest that money in a good set of tools and start learning how to work on your car

i do agree you should learn to work on your own car. i dont agree that paying someone 100 bucks for a spring install is. you are paying someone for the fact that they have years of experience, tools and ability when you do not. if you cant do it yourself you cant put a price on it.

that being said , its an easy install if you have the mechanical skills. if you dont then it may be well worth your cash to have someone else take care of it in a much more timely manner .

So....

Should I not try this alone?

Everyone is busy tomorrow (that would be useful) and I don't want to wait a week... but I definitely will if this isn't a solo job.

Thanks.
