Leaking engine oil or ATF? pics included!

Just got reminded about this thread from the last post.
Here's what my car looked like when I took it into the dealer last year;
Ignoring the areas around the drain plug and oil filter (thats just oil that leaked out of the filter/ off the drain when doing an oil change.
Notice the highlighted spot where there isn't any oxidation; thats where there had been an accumulation of oil that I had cleaned off on the previous oil change. I took it in and they wouldn't do anything under warranty.
Car is no longer under warranty now, since the accumulation is minimal, and I never lose much oil I just wipe it off when I'm under there for oil changes.

Axle gasket leak
Whoa, time flies and I forgot to update you guys when I took it in a few years ago! Sorry!
It turns out it was one of the front axle gaskets that was causing the leak. I took it in before 60k miles (end of warranty). Asked them to check for leaks. They were going to charge me diagnostic fee, so I just said change the the ATF. They ended up finding this leak, and repairing this issue under warranty! saved me a few hundred dollars. Asked them what causes this, and they said it just happens..
So at the time I had a Spoon engine torque dampener, beatrush underpanel, intake, and header installed. I am not sure how much of an affect the torque dampener causes, but maybe it was because the underpanel holding in heat and the dampener causing excess stress/vibrations?? I don't know. I had removed both engine torque dampener and underpanel before servicing. And have been off the car since.

Leaks at the junction from engine to transmission can be either a main seal on the engine or input seal on the trans. Same amount of work for either one.. Not a bad investment to do BOTH of them while your in there, the tranny input is usually fairly easy...
500 bucks worth of labor for 40 dollars worth of parts.. ick..
