- 4q
Signature Series 5W-20 Synthetic Motor Oil
- 1 AMSOil Absolute Efficiency Oil Filter

So I'm not going to tell you how to change your oil as there are plenty of those on this forum. I'm just going to say why I decided to run this oil/filter combo. Basically I have been running the Torco oil and Honda filter recommended by Kraftwerks with a 3,000 mile interval since the install of the base kit. The shop I pick up the parts had AMSOil 5w-20 XL Extended Life Synthetic motor oil, so I picked 4 quarts of that up with a Honda oil filter. I ran this for two maintenance intervals (6k), unfortunately I don't think the Honda filter should be pushed that far. Since going with AMSOil in this car I have decided to exclusively run it along with all their other products.
I've gone with the signature series as its good for up to 25,000 mile intervals (I'll be changing it out with the filter @ 15k). I've also decided to go with their Oil filter as well as it is good for 15,000 miles. This is the equivalent of 4 regular oil changes!

So for $56.50 - divided by 4 changes = $14.12 equivalent!

I've ran AMSOil oil in my transmission and motor of my last turbo car with great results in the past, so I've got great confidence in this setup for our cars.

Don't forget to mark your next millage change interval somewhere and a new drain plug crush washer!

Yup, it will work. I'm changing my good old dino at 9K. As long as you're happy, life is good. Can't say my L15 is happy... it's inanimate, but it runs fine.

I've got a thread on here with some oil analysis' on my Fit using AMSOIL.

I just changed the oil today. It has been one year and a month. 17,xxx miles on the oil.

In that time I added maybe 3/4 of a quart of oil total.

My Fit had just over 60K miles on it and has had 4 oil changes.
