Need help with tires & lowering springs
I am on the fence regarding lowering springs and tires. This is a DD, and I am 155lbs, 6'3" tall so long rides are horrible. I also want to improve the fuel economy and make the ride smoother and more responsive. Here is what I have so far, any input would be appreciated.
I will install a spoon front strut bar and a progress rear sway bar. Not sure if I will really need a C-pillar bar.
Based on many hours of research and reading that the following springs would be the best to choose from:
Tanabe DF210 $220 F1.8 R1.3
Tanabe GF210 $240 F1.5 R0.9
Progress $157 F1.5 R1.3
Skunk2 $200 F1.5 R1.0
Eibach Pro Kit $230 F1.6 R1.3
Eibach Sport Line $228 F2.0 R1.8
Swift $??? F1.4 R0.8
I have found a decent deal for all 4 Tokico Blue Shocks for $344, so a lower ride will not prematurely wear down OEM shocks.
Wheels I am set on are black Enkei RPF1 15x7, 4x100, weighing in at only 9.5lbs!!!
Tire size should be 195/50R15. Any suggestions for light tires that won't break the bank? Fuel economy is important, but cost-wise tread-life is also just as important since good fuel economy costs less. Tire Rack is not impressing me with its selection.
BTW this is not my first post, my old ID was locked and I could not recover it.
